I bought this item because Scott Bakula is one of my favorite actors and Quantum Leap one of my favorite shows. I have seen every episode at least twice. I especially liked the songs sung by Scott Bakula. John Lennon's "Imagine" really touched me as I recalled the context in which he sang it to his (Sam Becket's) sister; I cried remembering the poignancy of that episode. As I listened to each song,I visualized the episode where the song appeared and regretted the absence of "Peggy Sue", which was an integral part of an episode even though as I recall, he didn't sing the entire song. My biggest regret was that I had misunderstood and thought it was a DVD (my fault, description was very clear) and I was dying to see him dance, especially his wonderful tango.
I love the original Quantum Leap and love to hear the music. I just wish they had the words for Sam's prayer over the music and there was more of Scott singing.

If you like Scott Bakula, you will love this CD. He sings great, plus there is an interview where he talks about his background. There is also a cute peppy song by sidekick Al. My only criticism of this CD is that it contains a few instrumentals I could have done without. I would have preferred more of Scott singing instead. Very good CD overall.
The opening and closing music to Quantum Leap is my favorite TV music of all time. I love to listen to the dramatic narration at the beginning and the uplifting music which follows. The rest of the CD doesn't do anything for me, but the theme music which opens and closes the show is very inspirational and moving and makes this CD worth buying.
