This cd gives you a musical insight into the Norse history. Absolutly brilliant. Metal done their way with sounds that would make you think that you are on the battle field with the gods. These vikings form the Faroe Islands are conquering the world on their terms. Singing in their native language as well as english brings everyone together nicely. If you haven't heard of these guys, go out and buy or download their albums. You will be glad you did. If you like your metal played with passion, then this band is your you. If your not a viking, you will be after hearing Ragnarok. The gods of Valhalla will be waiting!
The guitar pieces on this album are just simply awesome! The singing takes some getting used to though and is very odd at first listen. Stick with it, give it a few plays and you will soon see why anyone who is into Viking Metal must add this album to their collection. Fave track on the album is Ragnarok, just brilliant!
