This DVD is about Steve's mini-tour with his two sons -- one is a great drummer and the other is an adequate keyboardist (when Steve's usual keyboardist is Rick Wakeman, everyone else is bound to suffer in comparison.) Most of the material is solo stuff, although there is roughly a fifteen-minute solo where he reprises his material from GFTO and Topographic Oceans. Most of the songs are instrumental, which is fine because Steve's voice is not all that sonorous. At the same time, when Steve does sing on this DVD, it is the best I've ever heard him sing (which means I can tolerate it and appreciate it without cringing.) Of course, his musicanship is awesome and impeccable. His back up band includes a black bass player who never says two words on the whole disc, but I think it is more because he is a quiet guy and not because of any race discrimination.Read full review
