I am now 54, at the tender age of 14 I bought my first LP record from a shop 23 miles away in Hastings, Hawkwind's Space Ritual, the shop keeper could not believe what he was hearing and said he would take it back if I did not like it!!! This album has remained with me for 40 years, it is still mint and in a dust proof outer sleeve. I kept me sane through my University Years, was heavily used on my Mobile Disco strangely called the Silver Machine and tracks featured on my Radio Show It also opened the gate to other "Hawkwind" albums including Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters had a profound influence on me. Like me I believe the Brock has settled in Wales, could it be we both spent too long playing "Time We Left" whilst in England. I now have the CD as well. Diolch yn Fawr Dave.
