I bought this tape because it was the first record I heard by Rush. I first bought the tape in 1991 when it first came out, then lost it somewhere in time, then rediscovered it here on ebay. In my opinion as a dedicated Rush fan it is not one of their best recordings, there are quite a few filler songs on it. But then, there´s a lot of shiny diamonds. Dreamline is still one of my all-time Rush favorites. It was the first Rush song I ever heard, and it still blows me away. Bravado, Roll the Bones, Neurotica and Ghost of a Chance are simply brilliant. the band stated in an interview that they like the songwriting a lot and prefer it to Presto, which I don´t. But then this really is just a personal preference. But if you would like to get to know the typical Rush sound of the 90s this might be a good start.Read full review
