Simply one of the best offerings from the LPDs - in my opinion, far superior to its predecessor "Shadow Weaver (part 1)". This one has Steven Stapleton's fingerprints all over it, yet much of this disc is downright tuneful (relatively, of course). Jazz influences are more upfront than usual here as well. Highlights include 'Joey the Canary', 'On the Boards', 'Kingdom of the Flies' and 'Window on the World'. May not be the best introduction to the Dots, but those with some familiarity should find it instantly appealing. Highly recommended! Other essential titles are: "Curse", "Asylum", “Any Day Now”, “Maria Dimension”, and “All the King’s Horses”.
I expected part 2 of Shadow Weaver Malachai. But this Part 1 is good. I have had it in the past but lost it. Part 2 is not so easy to come by. Do you have it.
