This 2 DVD set was recorded in 2004 and is performed by the classic YES lineup: Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Alan White. The concert features a mix of both classic and recent songs. One interesting faucet of this concert is a number of songs are played acoustically, including a jazz version of Roundabout. Among Yes’s vast body of work over the last 40 years they have created three major masterpieces, starting with Close To The Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans and Relayer which are the equivalent of modern classical rock works of art. The highlights of this concert are many. Unlike many of Yes concert videos where distracting editing is displayed instead of the band performing (remember the amoeba floating around on the screen in Yessongs during Howe’s opening jam in Close to the Edge?) this concert shows the band playing without any unnecessary “enhancements”. The rendition of South Side of the Sky is amazing, with clean harmonies and an incredible call and response battle between Steve Howe and Rick Wakemen. And during Ritual we get to see and hear Chris Squire dominate the stage with his truly astonishing base lines. And in their performance of Yours Is No Disgrace, we get to see the unique guitar styling of Steve Howe – but just when Howe has blown you away, Squire’s ever present base makes you appreciate him even more. Along with Wakeman’s keyboards which add both flow and substance to the music, Alan White’s drumming keeps the whole group locked together as a cohesive musical event. Jon Anderson’s lyrics and unique voice provides both beautiful imagery and even displayed as an instrument unto itself. There is also a bonus interview with Roger Dean, who designed the stage for this tour, as well as numerous album covers. This concert is a MUST for every music lover. Along with the original Yessongs, this concert and Keys to Ascension will provide hours of amazement and enjoyment.Read full review
I am a Yes fan. I enjoy all their music and videos. Great Classic progressive rock performances for decades. Their earlier stuff is more energetic ,but their superior music talent always shines. This is an excellent example of their work later in careers.

It was good to see White, Squires, Howe, Anderson, and Wakeman all together again. I attended this tour in Chicago at the All-State Arena. I wanted to see Yes again but I wasn't expecting to get blown away by their performance. It was way beyond what I thought I was going to see. Yes has been around a long time and I have seen quite a few times. You never know what your going to see every time you go to another concert. They are very versatile and experimental. This concert brought everything together very nicely with a stage set up that was way beyond anything that I could have imagined. This is definitely dvd that you want to be able to pull out of your collection of music and watch or just listen to once and a while. It offers a 5.1 Surround Sound format for your home theatre. Nothing but fun, fun, fun! William Reinmuth, Frankfort, Il.Read full review
Songs From Tsongas has one of the best Yes set lists that meld together with perfection. The audio is crisp, and the visuals are perfect, no dubbing or looping. Oh, and With Rick Wakeman in the lineup you can't go wrong, he really gives his best here with unbelievably beautiful solos especially on And You And I among others. Great all the way through to the last song which naturally has to be Starship Trooper masterfully done Yes. As a long time YES fan, I have to say this may be the most enjoyable YES DVD I have seen. Great song selections, and some fantastic acoustic versions make this a very interesting concert. The band members look like they are truly enjoying the experience as well. Wakeman is amazing, and in top form, but they are all terrific.
