Good Hard Rock music is hard to find today. Seether, along with some other few bands around, is one of the still living representatives of that genre. Unavoidably, this new release ends up being compared to previous albums and even some artists in some professional and customer reviews. I try not the judge the band, their past or where they will be going to in the future. I also don’t compare them with other artists, because comparing apples with oranges just don’t work. In fact, I don’t give a damn about these things and I focus on appreciating the album for what it is. So by judging only the recording itself, I can tell that hard rock fans will find great piece of music here, the kind of one that is becoming more rare everyday. Fine guitar and bass play, nice drum beatings and powerful vocals. My personal highlights are for “Fake It”, “FMLYHM”, “Rise Above This” and “No Jesus Christ”. For anyone who just looks to find cool rock music in this era dominated by country and R&B releases, this will be an interesting choice.Read full review
I thought their previous CDs were fabulous, but this one takes the cake. It is awesome from beginning to end. There isn't one song that I don't love. Two in paticular tickle my fancy...Breakdown and Walk Away From the Sun. They have some funky, beautiful incidental instrumentation that blows me away. I also love the naughty FMLYHM....I'd lke to see how they could edit that song and not destroy it. THIS CD is fast achieving worn out status with me and I've only had it for a short time. You must buy this CD!! They're going to be in my area in a couple of months and now that I've heard this CD I'm even more excited to see them.
Used price equals a great value over new item. Item is in very nice condition for being used. A good pick for fans of the band . Edgy and angry music that takes the post grunge rock into its own .

Stellar album! One of those you can just play and not skip any songs.

Although my introduction to Seether was their song "Fake It", after listening to other tunes of theirs on their website, I decided I needed more of their music. Seether belts out the anger, ankst, and turmoil associated with the feelings of teen-(and twenty-something)agers, while at the same time illustrating the quiet plaintiveness of heartache and loss. Seether is a great band and this a superior album(CD). The music is satisfying, the words are explicit without being overly so. If you are a newcomer to Seether-mania, you will not be disappointed!
