Spark of Bering: Expand is the second part in this trilogy. These seven tunes were recorded in Standford University's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics. "Observer" and "Travelogue" are likewise more synthetic, but the horns keep them firmly inside the jazz idiom underscored by funky breaks and basslines.
