I was so happy to find this Supertramp DVD. A band as great as Supertramp needs to be recognized, and Supertramp: The Story So Far gives them the credit they deserve. The concert footage is definitely the highlight for me; the song lineup really encompasses the best of their work, with such staples as "Breakfast in America," "The Logical Song," "Crime of the Century," and "Bloody Well Right." The only other song I would have liked to see is "Take the Long Way Home," but its omission is still forgivable because of what the rest of the DVD has to offer. The concert footage looks and sounds as it should with the exception of a few instances when the picture is slightly blurred; I've noticed that the camera looks to the crowd on these occasions, so it's really nothing to worry about. Although the two-part story of Supertramp is slightly outdated, fans should be more than happy with the band member interviews. The biography doesn't just state the obvious, either; there were a number of interesting tidbits about the group and footage that you really won't see anywhere else; concert footage from the 1970's being one highlight. What it comes down to is this: if you're a fan of Supertramp, buy this DVD without hesitation. I've watched it time and again and am more than happy to own such a loving tribute to such an underappreciated band.Read full review
Great Video ! Learn lot's of facts about the Group Supertramp and the concert footage is classic. All the songs from the start of the group til the late 80's.I liked the interviews with the band members and their take on the music of that era .The bonus videos will surprise you with the cuts they have selected. This group had a hard time to find success with the first line up but they made some changes and got it right.Bloody well right as far as i can see!Rick Davies piano ,Roger Hodgson vocals and John Helliwells horns were the combination that got me hooked as a kid in the 70's.If you want to know the history and see some classic concerts footage you can't go wrong with this Dvd.
A good documentary on the band supertramp. Pretty good concert footage. Although a bit grainy. If you like the band, you will like the story and footage.

I bought the DVD with a hope of a good entertainment. But, I was surprised with the story of the Supertramp since 70's, with the great selection of shows and with the extras. Overall, I can say that is one of the best that I have in my collection. Securely, I'd recommend this DVD.
