I really enjoy the CD 25 Sunday School Songs. I purchased it so that I could upload it to my computer and use it when I make PowerPoints for Children's Church. I print a nice picture with the words on the PowerPoint, and when I press "play" I have the accompaniment music for the kids to sing along with. This CD is perfect for that, because the background music is simple, and it doesn't drown out the voices of the children singing the melody. It's so easy for the kids to pick out the melody and sing along. I also like the song selections. I bought it especially because it has the song "Whisper a Prayer" which I had trouble finding on other similar CDs. This is a nice selection of good, all-time favorite songs. Here's the interesting part, though. There are actually only 20 songs! I have no idea why the "25 Sunday School Songs" CD has only 20 songs. I thought at first that maybe there was a defect that kept the others from playing, but that's not the case. The jacket lists all the songs, and it lists only 20. Weird! Songs: Arky Arky Down in My Heart The B-I-B-L-E God Is So Good He's Got the Whole World in His Hands If You're Happy and You Know It I'm in the Lord's Army Trust and Obey All Day Song The Light Medley The Jesus Medley O Be Careful, Little Eyes The Lord Is My Shepherd The Birdies in the Treetops This Train Whisper a Prayer Zacchaeus Was a Wee, Little Man Father Abraham Kum Ba Ya The Wise Man Built His House Despite the illogical and deceptive title, 25 Sunday School Songs is a sweet, gentle arrangement of songs that can be used for Sunday school, VBS, Children's Church, or for kids' naptimes, played low. Most are songs that everybody knows, and they're easy to learn. If you want Christian children's music for any reason, I think you'll like this CD.Read full review
