Incredible, this type of music has been around for many years unfortunately mainstream outlets have only pumped the conventional gum smacking, hip hopping or the flavor of the week. Recently I have come into several bands(Epica,Dream theater, After Forever Kamalot) which have been around for many years that I (nobody) knew about this is one of them. Symphony X. by far is a classical rooted foundation with a heavy metal chops & drive. Edgy, sharp and to the point. As matter-of-fact I have bought tickets to go see them in San Francisco this next month. Recommend purchasing any Symphony X. albums.
