Sigur Ros is undoubtedly one of the most popular Icelandic bands in the United States, and all over the world. This album explains why. Best listened to as a 65-minute journey, the sprawling album covers throbbing aches and soaring joys. The album will set your imagination loose and will make productivity soar upwards. Hoppípolla will daze you with its happiness and promise. (Fun Fact: the lyrics of this song are about jumping in puddles. No lie.) Sæglópur mourns the past and dreams of the future. And Mílanó, 10 minutes long, will astound you the whole way along. This album is great background music to anything that requres your creativity (homework, writing, etc...), or is wonderful to listen to on its own. This album was released in 2005. Here I am, four years later, and this album is STILL the best that Sigur Rós has put out. Give it a listen. You owe it to them. And you WILL be stunned. 9.2 out of 10. -NickRead full review
This is one of the best CDs by one of my favorite bands. If you like a little something different and enjoy something light with a bite and extreme talent, check it out.

I was originally planning to make a 48-minute compilation from Medh Sudh I Eyrum Vidh Spilum Endalaust and Takk, but then figured out that Takk just has to be listened to in one go and with no exceptions. So be it! No compilation. Anyway, excellent music (for people like myself). Recommended to everyone, though.
It is a great album, a wonderful mix between snow patrol, cold play, and a foreign language! I fell in love with it the minute i heard the first song.
All that arrived was a shrink wrapped empty sleeve..... Really? Not sure who is at fault on this one!
