Thunder in a box! This is an excellent way to see the range of your sound system, especially the speakers. The ELP sound always pushed the boundries of concert speakers and this great Mobile Fidelity release has freed this for your home. ELP is either loved or hated. I am not so much of a fan of the singing, but the artists and the instruments are fantastic. Turn the sound up on your sound system and listen to the bottom end glow! :-)
This is a great sounding version of this work. I have the shm and k2 versions both of which are great sounding this is smoother and more analogue sounded than the others. The other two are more dynamic and have more presence. I would recommend all three. I got this at a fair price I would not spend what some people are asking.
