He has been the featured artist at the Guatemala City Poetry Slam and has toured across the East Coast, Mountain States, South West, Deep South and Southern California, featuring and spotlighting at such venues as The Nuyorican poets cafe NYC, Mercury poetry cafe, Denver CO. And Da Poetry Lounge Hollywood CA. His most recent tour being with the spoken word poetry troupe I Love Haters performed at a total of 25 cities in the US. When trying not to get lost in foreign places he leads weekly writing workshops in Oakland, Richmond and San Francisco. Most recently he has released an EP as Patrick Joseph and The Temple of Echoes. This ground breaking work combines his spoken word poetry with drum and bass/trip hop and dub step along with female singing. Behind the electronic music composition is his best friend of 35 years, Boise's own Daniel Blumenfeld AKA LadyTramp; Cheyenne House and Carrie Jean Miller bring the heart plucking harmonic vocals, who incidentally happen to be Blumenfeld and Ohslund's significant others. This musical feat is a work 34 years in the making, initiated when Blumenfeld and Ohslund's mothers met in Lamaze class and immediately proclaimed that their sons were going to be friends. Patrick Joseph and The Temple of Echoes is indeed a fierce fusion of multiple strands of expression, finding it's central knot in the union of the family that these four comprise.
