Great bit of memorabilia

From a die hard Blur fan who will always love the old classics from Leisure and Modern Life Is Rubbish, not to mention Parklife to which a whole segment of my life i pretty much connect every drop of enjoyment to..so why on earth i wonder has it taken me so long to get round to buying Think Tank? Pondering over that thought i have come to the conclusion i was not yet matured in my musical tastes and the "new Blur" sound was perhaps a little too much for my limited understanding! Along with the fact that the whole Brit-Pop scene had diminished into history and the artists left standing had changed into something much darker, and more obscure, and definately less main stream. Having finally purchased enough happy chappy records to satisfy any over energetic, 20+ year old i have now started to move over to the slightly darker side...lets call it grey. The album itself is not good , its very good. The lyrics in places are very touching, the music i think is fairly inventive and definately very pleasing on the ears. Its a beautiful record which i wil most definately get alot of enjoyment from, and has filled a gap in my life that i'm now thinking only Damon Albarn's unique and haunting voice could perhaps fill. So not only do i reccommend this as a must have purchase, i reccommend that its a must have purchase you should make this week..if you like real music, you will ove this album! Rant over!Read full review
