First let me say that I LOVE The String Quartet. It doesn't really get any better rather just different. This particular CD is a little on the chaotic side however there are times when it settles in with me quite well. I believe it's just a matter of taste. You know, like apples and oranges. You can't go wrong with The String Quartet though because they are so so good!!!
Love this CD it works great for in the workplace

As a tool fan I was wondering what this album would be like...The result is a mixed feeling, it lacks the violence oh the original (especialy the drums, so important). But the positive aspect is that you can still find the melodic aspects of Tool in the album, even if some arrangements are quite puzzling. To conclude, definitely not a must have for a Tool fan, but if you're curious and that the CD is not too expensive (I paid mine 1,25$), then it's worth a try.
This is a must have for any TOOL fan. YOu will be completely amazed by it. Kudos to who ever the genius was that thought to have stringed instruments play TOOL.
This take on Tool sound just as powerful as the hard rock originals. It's appropriate for almost any occasion as each song is instrumental. If you like Tool, you like the out of the ordinary. This album will intritgue you just as much as the Tool originals!
