I love Tori Amos. This CD is, in my opinion, one of her finest. You can hear her bleed. She gives everything when she sings. She is an amazing pianist and you feel everything when you hear her play. Her voice is amazingly versatile and is the perfect hauting compliment to her piano stylings. Through her songwriting, she manages to tell some tragic stories. You cannot help but to identify on some level with what she is saying. This CD can take you on an exploration of your inner most darkened corners.

I brought it because I have always heard about Tori Amos but really never listened to anything by her so I wanted to hear some of her music. (From what I'd read about it, I thought I'd like it.) I loved it. I loved it because I really like the piano and also because what she does is DIFFERENT and not the same old crap you hear quite often. I like her music just mainly because it is very original and unique.
