Notes
Formed in Glasgow during the Autumn months of 2001, Hollow Horse have developed steadily since their inception. Every step has been a forward movement, every gig a lesson learned. As a result, the band have suffered little of the self-mythology and unwarranted hype which has proved the ruin of so many of their contemporaries. Following recent ambitious recording experiments which saw the band utilising brass, woodwind, strings and additional backing vocalists, Hollow Horse are currently operating as an essential quartet with emphasis placed firmly on thrilling musicianship and the multi-faceted abilities of band members Kenny Little, David Wotherspoon, Ian Stevenson and Kevin Devlin. With willing participation in numerous festivals and benefit shows over recent years and appearances on T.V. and Radio and many prestigious West of Scotland venues to their credit, the group have cultivated a sharply-honed live sound and charismatic stage presence. Hollow Horse look set to translate a rapidly blooming local acceptance into future national success.
