Feels good to have this CD again; I used to have it, but it was stolen in a burglary back in 1997 :-( Jamiroquai made some good stuff in the late 90's, and this CD contains some of (in my opinion) his best tracks, such as the dance track "Cosmic Girl" and the slower R&B track "Virtual Insanity". Nothing really I dislike about the CD. Some of Jamiroquai's earlier records were too much like an imitation of Stevie Wonder's mid-1980s music, but by Travelling Without Moving he had developed a style of his own :-)
I recently found out that one of my best friends was in Jamiroquai at the time this album was recorded. I was already a fan of their music; they have an intense funk about them and Jay Kay's voice is truly magical. I already owned debut album, 'Emergency On Planet Earth' and recent Singles Collection, 'High Times - The Singles'. I was intrigued to hear this album though as my favourite tracks from the singles collection were originally from Travelling Without Moving [Cosmic Girl, Virtual Insanity, High Times]. I was not disappointed as the rest of the tracks are equally as funky. The one let down for me though, as I was used to the clean cut tracks from the singles album, was how a lot of the tracks have long introduction which feel a little out of place. I'm definitely glad I bought it though, it's a must have for any Jamiroquai fan or any fan of good music!Read full review
Jamiroquai at his very best. No one does it better that the space cowboy himself.Living Legend within the music industry which no-one dare immitate. 15 Years in the buisness & still going strong!!!.
What fun! Great, funky, chill-out, feel-good music. Fab! Jamiroquai - Travelling without Moving evokes warm summer nights, low chatter and the warmth of friendship, possibly a cool breeze blowing in off the sea.
i love jamiroquai my all time favourite singer i just love him the way he sings is the best and thanks to the seller im really enjoying this C-D i got frame's and i hanged them up all on my walls so they look like really nice singed albums picture frames
