This, to me, is another "hidden gem" album (along with "Day of the Robot"). It doesn't get much attention when compared to so many other Buckethead albums, but there's a lot to like about it. I love the mix of styles on this one. I'm not big into beats and techno, etc...but the ones on here are very tasteful, if you will, and fit well within the structure of the songs. Plus, there is a lot more shred on the album than you might remember at first! It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb, either. It blends in nicely with the ambience and beats. Though this isn't the first I always think of either, and some tracks don't stand out as much as I wish they could, every time I go back and listen to it again, I appreciate it a little more. A very strong effort that gets a 4/5 from me. Well done, sir!Read full review
Like I said, if you are a big B fan and don't already own this my question is: why? This is a great cd, got a little bit of everything, some ambient stuff, great guitar riffs with some electronic fun thrown in. Simple grooves and solid sounds. With the exception of The Triangle, part 1, every track on this cd rocks. Sea of Expanding Shapes is beautiful. Bionic Fog, Beestrow Fowler, Pulling the Heavy, Phantom Lights, Whatevas and 911 along with all the rest are just simply great tunes. This is a must have for any Buckethead fan.

super sick intro. beautiful all around album, hottest rock guitar player, best 911 tribute not like those b s country ones made to capitalise, it has a beautiful jazz background perfectly choriographed to the catasrtophy. rad graphic. must have collector.
I am a HUGE Buckethead fan, but for some reason had ignored this album. I made a BIG mistake. This CD is killer from start to finish! It's kind of a cross between Somewhere over the Slaughterhouse and Giant Robot. If you like Buckethead, just buy this album. You won't be disappointed!
