This CD is a fitting tribute to the late Randy Rhodes. It contains live versions of the best songs from Osbourne's early solo albums and a few Black Sabbath classics. Rhodes' guitar work is fantastic throughout the album, the band is tight, and Ozzy is much more coherent than I expected. (Listen to Sabbath's "Past Lives" for an example of a wasted Ozzy slaughtering lyrics.) This is the epitome of 80's hard rock (along with Dio, Van Halen and Dokken). It captures a moment in time before hair bands and death metal took over. If this style appeals to you, GET THIS ALBUM. It doesn't get much better than this.
This is one of ozzy better live albums.not only do you have randy playing his heart out but ozzy really seems to sound like he is enjoying himself also.one can only wonder what could have been if he didnt take that plane ride!
