This DVD is pretty much what I expected out of it. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the fact that even though this was the "Union" tour, they didn't play many songs from the Union CD, which was kinda lame. I don't know if there were difficulties in making arrangements for many of the songs that are on the cd and translating them to a live performance or what. But, it was very nice to see the interaction between the guys from two different "eras" of Yes history. I'm a big Trevor Rabin fan and I know a lot of Yes fans out there are "Trevor Haters", which I'll never understand. I digress; Trevor definitely enhanced the show. The show stopper for me was all of the guys playing as one on the lineup's version of the song "Awaken", my favorite Yes song ever. There was a lot of humor going on between the guys throughout the show, even if you didn't really know what they thought was so funny. It was good to see them willingly working together, respecting each other and enjoying each others company. Everyone did a stellar job. I think Jon Anderson was a little "toasted" on something....I don't know if it was drugs or booze but, he seemed a lot spacier than I remember seeing him the few times I've actually been able to see Yes live and on other video recordings too. Jon is always spacy (I swear he's from another planet lol) but, he just seemed to really be floating around the stage like a fairy on this recording.....blinking real lazily....like REALLLLLYY lazily....lol. Anyways, this is a good item to add to your Yes collection. It was shot in 1991 and I thought initially that this show was shot and shown in part for ABC's now defunct show "In Concert" that used to come on late Saturday nights or early Sunday mornings. But, this recording is NOT from the same show that the "In Concert" footage was shot at. Just as a refresher...Al Di Miola introduced the "In Concert" episode (not this concert video) as he is a Trevor Rabin admirer. So if you're a Yes fan....old school or Trevor Rabin era....pick this one up. You'll enjoy it.Read full review
Although I didn't see the performance presented on this DVD I did see the UNION tour when it came through San Diego, CA. OUTSTANDING! If you've ever been a YES fan this is the performance for you. 2 keyboard players (Wakeman and Kaye 2 drummers (White and Bruford) Anderson (vocals) Squire (bass) Rabin and (the incomparable) Howe on guitars ALL ON STAGE AT THE SAME TIME with a concert that will thrill and amaze all who behold it. Crystal clear shots with sharp clean audio make this DVD a pleasure to watch again and again. A real treat to re-live a special show. Despite the fact that my personal all-time favorite YES song ("Close to the Edge") wasn't included, this is still a YES fan MUST HAVE. I'm glad I finally gave in and bought it. Worth every penny. Recommended.

I have been waiting to listen and watch this DVD for a long time, since I saw them at Houston, Woodland pavillion. I've seen yes concert many times and that was the best ever. it's too bad that the mega group of 8 members didn't last long. the reason I didn't give five star is there's not "I wanan wait forever" which is a hit single of studio union album. I have it on my bootleg live VHS tape.
I can't make an oppinion related this item, cause it hasn't arrived yet. Let you know when it is

Great concert. The best that the late Chris Squire played bass. The band in their prime.
