This being the highlights and not her complete concert is just as good. Every song that she performs is brilliant. Listening to this CD will make you love her even more. From "Lush Life" to "Being Alive" she belts them out Patti style. Her version of "Calling You" & "Get Here" gave me goosebumps. When she gets to as she puts it "the theater section" : as Evita with her Tony winning performance "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" to her tearful "Meadowlark" which will make you press repeat, from Les Miserables' "I Dreamed a Dream" to the joyful "Anything Goes". All these vocals are kick ass. This woman is in a every word a star......A Grand Diva! If you love broadway, you will definitely love this CD.
Patti Lupone is THE musical diva of Broadway. She has a range that is amazing and when she really cuts loose, she will send shivers up your spine. She makes American Idol winners look like rank amatuers. If you know her, you love her. If you don't know her, then this cd will give you the introduction that you need!
