Savatage has been one of my favorite bands for a long time. Today Savatage is better known as Trans Siberian Orchestra. If you like TSO, I highly recommend you purchase Savatage's Wake of Magellan and the previous album called Dead Winter Dead. Both of these albums are concept albums and both are excellent. I rate Wake of Magellan as one of the best Savatage albums ever which is quite a statement considering that it is a post Chris Olivia album. It is an album of depth and musical genius.
Love Savatage! Unfortunately this one was the last album with Zak Stevens. Great guitar work and great keyboards of course! Oliva & O'neill made an amazing album with the gang!!
good song writing,alittle on the meatloaf&queen side(even for SAVATAGE)but a good listen never the less.i reccomend it to those who dig SAVATAGE.
