Clearly not ABBA’s best album. How could it be with songs like King Kong Song. Seriously?!! Waterloo is a poor effort from, in my opinion, one of the greatest pop groups in history. Although there debut album “Ring Ring” is not the greatest album of their career it is definitely better than this. After listening to Waterloo, one would be hard pressed to believe that ABBA would ever amount to anything. Aside from the theme song (Waterloo) there isn’t much here to be desired. Most of the songs are dull and ordinary and seem to fade into the back ground. Although "Hasta Manana" and "Dance (While the Music Still Goes On)" are definite highlights, that isn’t really saying much. Thankfully, ABBA would go on to create far greater albums than this (Arival, The Album). Of course if you’re a big ABBA fan like I am then you’ll have to own this album, but be warned.Read full review
