Seen this on PBS, & had to add this to my videos...it is a real, upfront documentary on an incredible band! Amazingly, they only made SIX ALBUMS! A shame Jim couldn't outlast his demons....

I thought it was very well done. Nice to see Jim in his prime. Lots of footage that I never saw before The sound quality is also very good. Pull up a chair and " BREAK ON THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE". A must have for any Doors fan.

I saw the Doors March 16,1968 at the age of 13. I was overwhelmed as they were as awesome as you can imagine. They sounded as clean as thier records. This movie (which uses all actual footage) brought me to that feeling once again. You will see how The Doors are a band of fate. That every member made key contributions and what great footage. Tom Dicillo should win an award for this!!
