I didn't ever see THE WHO in concert /person (s) . And whether you did or didn't , this DVD is worth the very inexpensive prices'. Lots of Keith Moon ( though highly "eccentric " a bit !), and John (Bass progressive for it's time ) WHY ?!??! This is a well filmed Time-Piece . And the transfer is exceptional. Was very hard to find at the Mini cinema theaters, back then , and by the '80s a lot of classic Rock was pushed back , as New Wave , and all the sub genres' were holding on well in all media form . Again , for any interest in one of the greatest bands ever , have front row seat , and a whole new better view . Everyone of them were tops ! I couldn't put 4 stars //cause I wouldn't. That would be for the lack of "PETE" 's (?) or production techs being negligent, with guitar volume (pete was aware of his hearing going down) , but the kid running Townsend's rig was inattentive and was very briefly scolded by the afore mentioned King of the HYWATT amplifiers. -I think he told him , to GOO OFF !! And handled it all himself -Pete. AND WHEN HEs ON he is ON and man the bark and chimey British Guitar utopian sounds and tones come on through, YOU BETTER //YOU better ..you bet.....buy it . and watch . This is just my opine. And bloody well RIGHT !!!Read full review

This is one of the most amazing concert DVDs I have in my huge collection! Why it took them so long to release it, I have have no idea. I'm just glad that they finally did! The performance of Keith Moon proves that he was one of the best drummers ever, and was still in his prime when he died. The Who play a complete variety of songs from their entire catalog with an energy that should never be forgotten. Moon along with bassist John Entwistle remind me that they are possibly the greatest rythym section ever, and will be sorely missed. This is a must see for any Who fan, highly recommended for all rock music fans, musicians, and anyone who just wants to see the extent of how well a band of four people can possibly play.
It's hard to believe this was recorded in 1977. The video and audio are fantastic to say the least. This may not be their best performance ever but good enough.(I saw them live 3 times) The quality of the audio lets you play it LOUD and that's what the Who are all about(My ears are still ringing). There may be better video transfers and better audio recorded Discs out there, but this is about as good as they get, especially for a 30+ year old recording. If you ever liked the Who or just heard about them, take it from an OLD Bas*d like me, this is an absolute must have piece of musical history!
Great video because it’s Keith Moons only live appearance!
