2008 wasn't a bad year in music... but the Secret Chiefs 3 and John Zorn managed to stand right on top! Zorn's composition for the Book of Angels are very inspired, and the arrangements made by Trey Spruance are unbelievably good, making this the best of the Book of Angels series (in my opinion). Everything from the playing to the mix is brilliant and crystal clear, making this a must have for any fan of good music, with a middle-eastern, and some surf rock, and some electronica, and etc, etc, etc.
