I remember the music scene in the mid-sixties with some awesome young guitarists and a band that several of today's rock guitar 'heros' spent time in as members of - The Yardbirds. Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck each went their separate ways from that point in different directions. Jeff Beck went through various periods of styles and by the late 1990's he turned out MY favorite album of his - 'You Had It Coming' from 2000. I've had CDs of the US domestic version on Epic and gave them to friends who were amazed with Jeff's playing. Recently I've purchased the Japanese versions of this CD, which were in two releases as shown in my images here. The 'top' CD is the first, with the later release below it in both pictures. I LOVE this album and listen to it from the first track through the last - it simply ROCKS with some of the best artistic guitar work I've ever heard. Listening on higher performance audio gear makes it even better as you can hear the amazing things Jeff does - it's NOT all fuzzy tones! The later CD release was priced lower and they both sound the same to my ears with a decent 'audiophile' system. Most Highly Recommended with 5 STARS!!!!! Dan (atget26)Read full review
