This is one of my all-time favorite CDs. I've listened to it hundreds of times, and I think it belongs in everyone's collection. Everything about it is superb. It is out of print, and very rare, so I recommend that you pounce on it immediately. This is the version you want. The intonation is perfect. Every tempo is right on. The entrances are precise. All the power and drama you could possibly ask for and more, although the delicate subtleties are there when required. The mix is right. The recording is great. Listen to it loud.
