This album is definitely an aquired taste. Somewhere between Popcorn (the early synth band from the 70's) and a performance art peice (Laurie Anderson collaberates on "Zoolook" on several tracks.) the overall effect of the music is to sweep you into an alternate world... a sonic Alice in Wonderland, if ever there was.
I was already a JMJ fan in 1984, having been introduced to Oxygene & Equinoxe in college, which broadened my musical pallette; but ZooLook was a total & wonderful suprise. Groundbreaking? Yeah, and always interesting to hear, especially with headphones.
PARA MI EL MEJOR DISCO DE ESTE COMPOSITOR FRANCES. UNA JOYA. SOLO PARA NOSTALGICOS DE LOS AÑOS 80 QUE DISFRUTARON DE ESTE DISCO EN LP.
