Despite her hiatus, the mid-western artist still owns that raw, but sweet, dynamic delivery. Assata...Came to life as the Artist "Qwyetstorm" at The Good Life Cafe, in Los Angeles, Ca. she remained on the underground circuit for a while, while gaining audiences from a variety of cultures. She spent a few years signed to Virgin/Rap-A-Lot records in the group "The Blac Monks. The Rap-o-Lot Recording Artist completed two albums "Secrets of the Hidden Temple" followed by "No Mercy". Storm at this point had already shared the stage with artist that range from 2Pac, ScareFace, Devin the Dude, Jay-Z, T-Pain, just to name a few, as well as gained,national radio play. After Rap-O-Lot, Assata, remained active as an independent artist. Now the long awaited and anticipated, under-rated artist of our hip- hop, r&b, and soul times, Assata Storm finally takes her place.
