Many years ago, when I was on holiday in the Philippines, I saw the video of "Just so You Know" on the MTV Asia channel, on cable TV, and was so impressed by this band from the USA that I had never heard of before. American Head Charge were something new, I didn't know about Nu-Metal music, and I became hooked the more I heard this song, so on the return journey to the UK, I bought the CD "The War of Art" from a store in Singapore Airport, and played it after I had arrived home. It was an excellent album, I was so hooked, that I played it almost to death, and it opened my eyes to other Nu-Metal bands. Eventually, I grew weary of listening to it, and it was sold along with other CDs, but now, many years later, I saw the video again, and my interest was renewed, so I looked for a copy of the album on ebay, and found this CD at a bargain price. So now, I can hear this great music again, 20 years after I first discovered this band!! I recommend this album to any rock music fan, it's different to heavy metal and hard rock, but well worth listening to.....Read full review

Second album from AHC (the first one was Trepanation, self produced). It is really good if you have not listened to Trepanation, because its not THAT good. More like industrial/alternative metal, and less nu-metal like Trepanation was. It includes some re-released tracks from the first album, which i prefer the original ones in all cases (well, Seamless was a bit improved maybe), but some of the new songs featured are great (A violent Reaction, and All Wrapped Up, my favourite from this album). In this one they left that suicidal desperation feeling, focusing more in the euphoria of rage. Recommended if you like the new metal in general.
A brilliant album. If you like bone crushingly heavy music this album is for you. One of those albums you don't skip a track on, essential for any metal heads collection.
