Moby Grape is a band with a history: and a lot of hype (their management company released five singles, count 'em five, from their first album and all the same day no less). However, this live set shows they had the chops to match the hype! So, if you're only ever going to buy one of their album, make it their first, or Vintage Grape, but if you already own them then your collection simply isn't complete until you add this to it!
The fact that these live recordings exist is alone miraculous. Very good quality audio and some really great performances captured during Moby Grape's best years.
