after waiting a few years since Ozzy's last cd release. There was no question why to buy this cd, Ozzy's great from day one till now. WE where very pleased with this cd, better than his last couple cds and they where not bad.The only thing i did not like about this cd is that there was no inserts but u can download them off the internet through ozzy.com. This is one cd not to be missed.
Once again,Ozzy suprises me!I've seen alot of Great rock bands come and go,but through out all these years Ozzy's uncanny ability to both write great songs and recruit the best of the best in the metal guitar world is amazing.From the heavy metal phenomenal gutar riffs of guitarist Zack Wylde on "Not Going Away" and "Black Rain" to the hypnotising and melodic "Here For You",Ozzy's "Black Rain" cd is both distinctly Ozzy and new at the same time!
Ozzy's new album has some good songs on there such as "Don't Wanna Stop", "Not Going Away" and "Trap Door". There are some more decent songs on the album, but I would not say this is his best album by all means. I am a big Ozzy fan, I have seen him three times, including Black Sabbath, so I really like the album still. If you are an Ozzy fan then there is no doubt that you will enjoy this album!
Unlike most aging singers, Ozzy Osbourne still reigns supreme and his voice rings true much like his first albums. He says it best on this album, "Never gonna stop". For those that don't know his work, type his name in any video search and interpret for yourself. I highly recommend Black Rain.
