LIGHT FROM ABOVE is the debut album from Miami rockers Black Tide. This was recorded the Chicago's Groovemaster Studios, with Johnny K (Disturbed, Machine Head, Soil) producing. Black Tide's music draws from the best hard rock and thrash from the 80s, while giving it a 21st century kick up the ass. "Shockwave," the bands hit smash first single and the albums opening track, is an utter classic all bloody-knuckled thrash riffs, squealing guitars, rampaging drums, in-your-face vocals and an instantly memorable chorus.

    Excellent debut album.

    I first heard BL when I was watching videos of Rock Band (X360) on youtube, and listened to their song featured in the game named "Shockwave". Immediately it stuck on me and there I was playing it over and over again, so I decided to visit their myspace website and come across two other tracks from their debut album and was sucked into it 100%. From that moment I knew I had to purchase their album. 5* Great buy!

    Greate Band, and greate music

    Love the CD. Originally I had a copy of my own, but lost it on a trip, I been trying to get a copy of this CD, but it's been so hard to find, and at outrages prices. The music is awesome, and I am so happy to finally get my CD back.

    Awesome

    I would have to say this is one of the most incredible cds I have heard in 10 years.It is a super hard hitting old school metal album. I would love to see these guys in concert to see if they can live up to the cd.
