This is definitely the Cult's best album. Every song is excellent because they just flow together. The songwriting and arrangement are just unbelievable. Solos and melodies are great. To top it all are some really smart and brilliant lyrics. This album is excellent.

Actually I believe the first Blue Oyster Cult CD is the best. Tight instrumentals, yet raw. Check out the " Last Days of May", haunting guitar conjures up images of the dry desert and how plans can go terribly wrong. Considering this BOC CD came out in 1971,in my opinion, it does not sounded that dated.The songs are a trip to the late 1960's, and 1970-1971.Potent variety of moods & sounds. I bought it because we own the LP and would like to have this CD in the car or truck. I highly recommend this CD.It is a hypnotic BOC addition for your music collection.
