Whereas other bands work hard at finding 1 or 2 solid songs to build a career on, Clutch simply have high quality riffs and tunes oozing out of their pores. This "unofficiel" release is no exception - it is packed with memorable, fantastic music. Timewise, the material is from the dawn of what has become the best era in Clutch music realeases which is Blast Tyrant and Robot Hive (though everything before and after is also stellar), so 2002-2005'ish. My "current" favorite tune is Nickel & Dime with its compressed sound and heavy groove, though I think Willie Nelson is a song many immediately remember from this. This is maybe ot the first Clutch CD to buy - probably the 4th or 5th. You need to get above mentioned album and the "selftitled" first.
