This album is not really talked about when mentioning Slayer, and I don't really know why. But, this has some really enjoyable tracks on it. Paul Bostaph made his debut in Slayer with this album and he does well, the instrumentation is great and Tom Araya's vocals are still very angry on here. The production could've been much better though, apparently when they were recording the record they had to move to different studios which interfered with certain things. The mixing and mastering could've better too. However, the production doesn't irritate the ears, it's acceptable. Top tracks for me would be "Killing Fields", "Fictional Reality", "Serenity in Murder", and "Mind Control". I wish someone could remix and remaster this album, because if it was, I'd give this a better score. My official rating of Divine Intervention is a 3.5 out of 5 stars.Read full review

D.I. was my first ever Slayer album when I was 17. I've liked their tight relentless rhythms, and sinister chord progressions, and among their catalogue, this one's an obvious favorite. With cuts like 213, SS-3, Circle Of Beliefs and Dittohead, it's definitely a classic album.
SICK SICK SICK! Its Slayer! All there music is kick ass! SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
The death metal gods rejoice, SLAYER brings to their minions "Divine Intervention". This album is unrelinquishing thrash and hardcore inspired by the fires of hell. You will love it.
