I really like the musical style that they employ. Although many will argue that Christians should avoid the hip-hop style because so many artists use it negatively, it is actually the epitome of Christ-like-ness to be in a culture but not of it. Take Christ as an example, He came to earth as a man and adopted the customs of the Jews. Take special note that the cultural influences and guidelines He followed did not contradict God's Word, if they had, He would not have followed them. By reaching out to people who enjoy this genre, we provide people with an alternative to the trash that circulates over most radio stations air space. Musically, I do think that some of the tracks lack some creativity as they repeat the same melody line continuously. Also, there are no new/unique styles or techniques; however, this is not to say that the styles they used are bland. Overall, this is a great mix and will be a good addition to any hip-hop or rap fan's collection.Read full review
Group 1 Crew's first album was the bomb, so I bought this one hopeing for more of the same. This one's ok, but it just seems bland by comparison. I didn't just want to get up and dance like I did before. It's wonderful music in that it glorifies God, but they need to "catchafire" with their sound again. (as Toby Mac would say)

The best Christian music ever! My children listen to it and it guides them to a.other le el of worship.
