This is they type of music that should be played on the radio, but probably will not because it does not fit into any category. Every time I listen to the cd I find another song that has to be listened to because the first 10 times I heard it, is missed some nuances. I have 4 Band Of Heathen albums and each is better than the other depending on the day.
I bought this album because I have the BOH self entitled first album and liked it; Like the first album, One Foot In The Ether provides something for everyone no matter what your taste in music. There are great blends of harmonies and also the show-casing of their unique individual voices. There is also some very good instrumental work and some neet twists in their song writing. Thumbs up!!!
I really like these guys due to the fact that you can feel that they put their heart and soul into each song. They mesh together so well musically and the harmonies are awesome. This is a staple in my music list now!!
