I am a huge fan of Arch-era Fates Warning but this is probably my favorite album after the first three. At this point they have abandoned most of their power metal influences but this it is still highly recommended for anyone who likes 80s metal, especially Queensryche and Iron Maiden.
One of the best bands I have ever heard, very very under-rated. great music, great lyrics, all there CD's are excellent. I have turned alot of people on to this band just buy telling them to here couple of there CD's. there are still fans being made.
this ones goes out for you progressive metal addicted: althogh not as heavy as it used to be but this band wont disapoint you with this well crafted pieces of heavy music created by a master among several (matheos). gotta listen this one.
Fates Warning is a talented band and they have their own sound. Note and chord choices on the guitar are very unique. The vocals are strong but not as good as Geoff Tate of Queensryche and the music tends to sound the same after 5 or 6 songs. There are some strong moments on this cd but overall it a bit unadventurous.
