I first got into gODHEAD when I heard/seen them on MTV doing their cover of Eleanor Rigby, a song originally sung by The Beatles and me and me class long time a go at school during music. I am not one for bands doing covers especially covers of songs completely different to their norm as they generally make a huge muck of it, however this cover was fantastic it caught the true essence of the original and how it was sung, yet gODHEAD brought something of themselves into the song brinign it into the today without ruining it completely. I did have a computer version of the album but lost it during a computer crash, so I decided to search eBay to see if I could find the album. The album initially was acquired on the strength of the song Eleanor Rigby, being the only one of gODHEAD’s songs I had ever heard. When I got the album I was not disappointed by there what can only be described as revolutionary take on music. A mix of rock, techno and garage brought together in the most un-usual fashion to produce an album that anyone from a rock, punk, garage, hard techno, NIN, Marilyn Manson etc background would find appealing and a welcome addition to their music collection. It is also different enough to catch anyone looking for something new to light their fire.Read full review
