This is a real good instrumental guitar album from 1987. Here, Howe is still in his Eddie Van Halen stage, and he really lets loose with a lot of speed and feel. Later on, Howe got into playing fusion/jazz guitar, which is also great, but this is my 2nd favorite Howe album ("Ascend" is first, BTW).
I had this GREG HOWE on "cassette" since the 80s, however it got lost in moving etc, I used to love it..because it was quite 'different" from the other Virtuoso style players, more "mixed", as in Bluesy and Jazzy and metal and Neo-classical "All in One"... got to appreciate Greg's shear TALENT, especially the "Two-handed" stuff he pulls off... great "Guitar Instrumental Listening" for sure! Greg Howe is a 'seasoned veteran' who's "Technique and Prowess" as a Guitarist are widely respected in the Music community, as well as amongst his piers, fellow "Axeslingers" throughout the entire WORLD! Glad to have this treasured CD now, Thank You Ebay!!! East Coast Axeslinger... JP~
