I remember getting this album on tape first. I thought it was the follow up to Ritual de lo Habitual and was blown away by the variety on offer from the violent yet soulful offering from 'ted just admit it' straight to the odd ball jazz of 'standing in the shower' through to the dream like summertime rolls. It is hard to believe that this is a debut album, I feel it is unsurpassed by their subsequent albums. I recommend you definately check it out.
the thing i like most about this cd is the song writing ability of perry farrell, guitar of dave navaro!if u like rock music this is for u! BRILLIANT. the only thing i dont like is the album too SHORT!!!
If you like rock music with depth, beauty and an edge then you can't go wrong with this. Have been listening to it for ten plus years on cassette and it hasn't dated at all, in fact it stil sounds new. Big , powerful, soft and sensitive. A beauty. And what a voice.
brilliant! so good that this is my 3rd. wore 1 out. lent 1,not returned as it was so good. this time ...no lending!!!!
