Jetboy was a huge band for me. I met Billy Rowe, the band's rhythm guitarist in 1984, when I was barely 11 years old, and he schooled me on what glam rock was. Up to that point, I had only known of metal, and Motley Crue and Kiss were my favorite bands. This cd encapsulates old and newer unreleased Jetboy cuts, and when you hear the progression of this band, you wonder why they didn't strike the big time. Sure, I loved Faster Pussycat, Poison, and G 'n R, but this band was just as vital musically and visually, yet they have been since overlooked in the bigger picture of glam metal history. Get this cd and find out why you may have missed out on one of the best bands of that era, and perhaps one of the best bands of all-time.
Let me first start of by saying Jetboy was a band I had the pleasure of playing with back in the 80's in SF and LA and their songs are total glam and catchy. They put you in a good mood and I have been looking for this cd for awhile. It has all the great songs on it and if you want to hear a band that should've hit big time in the glam days this is it.
