Wonderful Hammer horror films that they don't make anymore. Always enjoy these film that were frightening when I was young. Different story line from the Christopher Lee Dracula films. If you are a fan of classic Hammer you should enjoy this one.

My brothers (the wonderful boys that they are) took me to see this movie when I was 6. Scared the ever living beejeepers out of me. This movie affected me for years.... being afraid to walk on sidewalks with trees branches overhanging them, crossing to the other side of the street if a stranger were walking towards me. Later on, I thought that perhaps the reason it scared me so bad was because I had been so young when I first watched it. I saw it again at 23 and it still had the affect on me that it had when I was 6. I'm not saying it was a bad movie. To the contrary, it's an excellent movie, doing what it was created to do. Scare the crap out of you. LOVED this movie. Out of all the vampire movies since, that I have watched, this is still the one that I adore the most.

Kiss of the Vampire is one of a kind from Hammer Film Production comes a story about a newlywed couples who were on their way to a honey moon but stranded at this hotel. But when evil had discovered the couple were staying at a hotel they decide to invite them to a guest party to get to know them, and there after the wife had vanished without a trace. Now the husband must find her and a man who lost his daughter must stop the terrors of evil before it's too late!
Hammer films have done it again, very good acting, sets and direction. To me this vampire film has class, and will remain in a place all its own! The story is very well written and has a power to keep you entertained.
