I recently purchased a album of Covers called "Sucking The 70's" (which any fan of 70's music and stoner rock should have) that had a cover of Freelance Fiend on it, a song which I had never heard, and instantly had to find out more about the original song and artist. After finding out it was Leaf Hound, I researched the album and decided to purchase it. Turns out it is a fantastic album that I am surprised I have not heard. Its a very Bluesy album with hints of Blue Cheer, Cactus, and Zeppelin. A must have for any 70's rock fan. I find it hard to believe i lived to be 40 without hearing the opening track Freelance Fiend. From there it continues on with heavy blues rocking tracks and a couple of slower zeppelin type numbers that make this a must buy for any 70's lover.Read full review
