Space Lord was the "ticket track" that got me into Monster Magnet for the first ride, but I came back for more. What a great theme, love its SF-Fantasy, psychedelia, UFO-spacey-weird sound and feel. Great rhythms, hypnotic or even addicting or habit forming because I just love it (over and over again, would be great as an 8 track), but then I also love NIN. Monster Magnet really isn't the same sort of 'stuff' as Nine Inch Nails (NIN is hard rather than humorous) but NIN is spacey or weird at times with TRULY pounding, compelling rhythms and I can listen forever to that too. I don't know why I just *love* spacey themes. If you are familiar with the Monster Mag track, "Space Lord," but haven't heard any of their others, it's definitely worth the ticket, but you'll definitely need to have a loose sense of humor to follow all they're saying. Space Lord, Temple of Your Dreams, 19 Witches, Goliath and the Vampires are my favorites on this one. Could BE a SF movie with Monster Mag as the sound track AND their ideas as the theme, the ship like a psychedelic submarine equipped with super basso-boomer sonic detonating woofers, and call the movie *SPACE LORD.* Yea, Yea, Yea.Read full review
